Frosty bred by Mrs C Cassie

Frosty is my most beautiful boy. I absolutely love this dog. His conformation and the way he moves takes my breath away and out in the meadow I watch him for hours. His beauty, his affection, I am just in awe of him. His gorgeous hazel eyes show such wisdom and intelligence, fun and laughter in their depths. I simply cannot fault him. He has the biggest personality, and is so clever and willing to please. In an instance he will drop anything he is doing if I ask him to do something else. He is my best, best boy! I love him with all my heart and soul and more. We are totally connected to one another. And he is my saviour. But for him I may have had a fatal car crash.

It was the day I brought him home aged 9 weeks. Just one day after meeting him for the first time. I was driving from Leicestershire to Lincolnshire and Frosty was in a crate in the boot of my car. He was quiet for about 200 yards and then started to whimper. This was natural so I did not stop. About 20 minutes into the journey and he was really howling. Again I thought that was only natural so I kept going. 'He'll settle down in a minute' I told myself and to a degree he did but then his howls intensified and they got louder and louder until they were so loud I had convinced myself that he had a paw trapped in the bars or something, so I looked ahead for a layby 'P' sign. At around the same time I had become aware of a green estate car tailgating me and flashing his lights. It had begun to annoy me for he was far too close and he had kept trying to overtake on blind bends and I felt he was just trying to make me go faster, too fast for such a road really and I kept thinking 'I'm going to let him go ahead in a minute then tailgate him and see how he likes it either that or I am going to zoom off ahead and leave him standing.' Then I saw the layby. Frosty, at that point had started to quieten down so as I approached the layby I was in two minds whether to stop or keep going, but just as I made the decision to keep going, Frosty started to yelp really, really loudly. So I indicated and pulled into the layby, which was likely a bit late for the car behind being that he was so close he honked his annoyance as he flew by.
I got out, checked Frosty. He just sat in his crate looking at me as innocent as butter wouldn't melt. I offered him a drink. No, he wasn't thirsty. I cuddled him but he didn't appear troubled in any way. I sat with him talking with him for awhile and then set back off on my journey. The very next bend was a big wide one, it arced right round almost back on itself and when I finally cleared it, I saw that the green estate car had been involved in a serious head on collision with 2 other cars. One had been driving past a petrol station and one had been pulling out of the petrol station. There were people standing and laying all over the road and an ambulance was coming toward them. At that point I realised what had happened. Frosty, bless him, had known, either angels had told him, or he simply was intuitive enough to know that danger lay ahead and he and I would be in the thick of it, had I not of stopped when I had. I seriously believe that Frosty saved my life that day. For the rest of the way home I never heard a peep out of him. We have remained close and connected ever since. I love him so much!
