Jack is a beautiful dog. He's boistrous and loving. I say he has no brakes and uses people as buffers as he hurtles toward people and careers smack right into them sometimes bowling them over. He is so fast!

Jack shows respect for his Alpha, Timba. When Timba's Frisbee goes into the Craile Eau waterway I call 'Jack, can you get Timba's Frisbee please?' and he runs over there and jumps into the water retrieves the Frisbee and drops it at Timba's feet then dashes off to resume whatever he had been doing when I called for his help.And when Kyanite has the ball and won't drop it I call 'Ky's got it!' and both Jack and Frosty hem in on Ky, Frosty pushes the ball out of Ky's mouth with his nose, and Jack picks up the ball and then does one of two things. If Molly is nearby he drops it at her feet and she returns it to me, or if Molly is nowhere to be seen then Jack will return the ball to me by himself. He's a great dog and I rely on his help often.

Jack is the father of Molly and Breeze.

The only time Jack has ever been ill is when he climbed through a small gap in a metal door when he was 5 months old and split his head open one Sunday and had to have surgery at midnight. Jack is the great Houdini. He has to have a roof on his kennel for he will escape from anywhere, and if he cannot go under or through somewhere he will climb over no matter how high that may be. He has climbed up and over seven kennels in a row to get to the first kennel where he likes to be most for he can get out into the meadow from there. He's a clever collie and everybody's loyal friend.
