Name Meaning: A black crystal that repels negativity and is pronounced Ky - A - Night.

A beautiful boy. If he were anymore laid back he would fall over. He enjoys chasing the ball and catching it but will not return it. He will lay down in the meadow with the ball in his mouth until I shout to Frosty and Jack "Ky's got it!" then both of them will go and take it from Ky but not before I have shouted several times 'Ky drop it!'

I love this dog. I had him neutered though because when a bitch was in season he just smashed his way out of his pen no matter where I put him to get to a bitch and was very dominant with his brother and Frosty, and even with Timba. He had a fight with Timba and Timba relinquished his Alpha male position to Kyanite. It was a rare occurance for Ky is usually 99% of the time so quiet. However I could not tolerate that so I had him neutered.

Update: Months later after his neutering Kyanite is the most quietest of our dogs. He respects his father and washes him daily bestowing rightful honour to Timba the alpha, and he is so quiet that I can barely remember he was ever so dominant until I read what I have written above a year ago. I regret having him neutered now but perhaps had I not things would have been the same as before. It certainly taught me a lesson that boistrous and dominant stud dogs after neutering will become pussycats.
